Wet 'N Wild Water Park
Located in the International Drive Resort Area, Orlando's original
waterpark is a great day out for all ages with it's emphasis
on multi person rides that groups can enjoy together. From
the slow motion to lighting fast, there's a ride waiting for
you. 2 hours 30 minutes SE of camp.
Walt Disney World Resort
Orlando is home to The Walt Disney World Resort, which covers
over 47 square miles and features 4 major theme parks: The
Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Disney-MGM Studios and Disney's Animal
Kingdom. There are also 2 waterparks, Disney's Blizzard Beach
and Disney's Typhoon Lagoon. Choose from 2 nightime entertainment
complexes, Downtown Disney or Pleasure Island. 1 hours 35
minutes NE of camp. 2 hours 30 minutes SE of camp.
Orange Blossom Balloons
With a 6am start you get to help with all the pre-flight preparations and will
watch amazed as these giant clouds of brightly colored fabric come to life.
After a final 'top up' of hot air from the gas burners, it's time to hop into
the basket and up you go! The in-air experience will last about an hour and
the total outing takes around three hours. See the Orlanda area from your perch
in the clouds. 2 hours 40 minutes SE of camp.
Orlando Science Center
Discover a hands-on place of learning somewhat removed from the
main tourist areas. Natureworks looks at various Florida ecosystems,
Cosmic Tourist deals with the solar system and Bodyzone covers
the wonders of the human body. There is also the state of the
art CineDome which features stunning IMAX film presentations
and laser planetarium shows. 2 hours 40 minutes SE of camp.
